We have been teaching the girls about the true meaning of Easter for many lessons. Last night, they got to watch The Jesus Movie in Thai. Most of our little girls were seeing it for the very first time. Praise God for His Precious Gift of new life as we live for the Risen Savior. Happy Easter, Dear Friends.

Learning Bible studies, The parable of the sower and the seed, getting our roots deep in God's love and grace, growing in knowing Him deeply. Last outdoor class before they go to visit families in the villages. Fun learning games, activities, celebrations and practicing English conversations for all came to an end... good memories. The rest of April, those who have a safe home will visit with their families. Many girls who are safest at Breanna's House will get to enjoy more fun activities to come....
It was the older girl's turn to make Roti, an Indian flat bread. While we waited for the dough to set, the girls had about an hour to work on their hair and face. They wanted me to show them how to help improve their hair and face. So I shared my herbal shampoo with Kaffir Lime which is good for strengthening hair roots and cleaning the scalp. We also applied hair moisturizer and let let it soak into our hair. For the face, after a good cleaning, we had cool cucumber slices all over our faces. Then just relaxed in the shade... With lovely hair and shining faces, the girls took turn to make lots of roti's for everyone and enjoyed a tasty snack!
At the children's home, I am so thankful to God for the opportunity to serve God with other friends who share the same cause...to see the hill tribe girls, God's girls growing in faith, being rooted and grounded in God's love. Each of us has different talents and gifting but all invest to build a people to walk in the way of The Lord Jesus Christ. Praise be to God. Thank you, family and friends for your prayers and support. We could not do this without your partnership.
The hot and dry Thailand summer days can be fun and full of joy when we focus our activities on being thankful to God for all things. Missionaries and staff have daily school to teach the girls in small groups. My part is to practice English conversation in games and songs and enjoy healthy snacks together. We also study God's word and being reminded that God cares for us deeply in everyday things. "Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you" Peter 5:7
