I am thankful for all of my family and friends for your prayers and support. Thank you for your partnership in my ministry, for the cause of Christ in Thailand. I am thankful for an opportunity to teach the girls at Breanna's House of Joy, through Bible Stories, skits, songs and any visual illustrations to show them Jesus and His power to redeem, restore and renew their lives. I am thankful for the joy of teaching these little ones. They need help in completing homework from the Thai school and to learn a needed language for their future-English. I am thankful for a wonderful staff at Breanna’s House of Joy. We have two married couples: one couple as directors and another as our maintenance personal and our cook. Three ladies are with the girls in the dormitory as room mothers. (On this day, two of the three room mothers were not present) We meet three days a week for a two hour session to study English. Each of the staff came from a hill tribe village: Hmong, Lahu, Kareng and Lisu. With different tribal languages, sometime communication can be difficult. When we cannot understand each other, we all communicate in Thai. I am the only Thai native here, but I am thankful that we can be different but same with one heart and unity because we have the save Father and Savior.

At Breanna's House of Joy, our girls attend two schools. One school has kindergarten through 9th grade. The other is 7th through 12th grade. They face issues at school just like our girls in America. But these girls have other baggages of burden. Some never know their fathers and their mothers are no more. Others experienced abandonment from both parents and left to fend for themselves. A few of them grew up with a grandparent or an aunt or uncle because one of the parents is in prison and the other one has passed away. When I teach about God, I just focus on the Good News that God loves them above any circumstances in life. He is the only one that can bring healing to the wounds in their heart.
Thank you, my sponsors for your prayers and support. I am truly thankful to be here to teach them and love them. Please continue to pray for the 30 girls at BHJ that they will continue to grow in their walk with the Lord. |
