A good breakfast is a must, then we send them on to school with God's blessing and protection. It is an exciting time to begin a new school year.

Summer cooking means trying out new recipes, eating healthy food and staying cool. The older girls wanted to learn to make chili paste to go with some hot rice and roast chicken. Then on another day, we made peach and honey smoothies, banana and coconut smoothies. The girls also had a try at making jams and Kimchi.
Sorry, I am late in sharing with you the summer happenings... We were so busy with the girls as they have no school, and we provide summer school and activities. In just a blink of an eye, the summer is over and it is almost time for the girls to start the new school year... Summer was full of fun learning, and outings, sharing the goodness of God!
Part of the girls' summer break was fishing with our bare hands...We had bought some 15 fish to feed the household of 46 people: children and staff. But our staff thought of a activity to release the fish into our rain pipe and have some fishing fun! It sure brought a lot of squirms, squeals, smile and laughter. ;)
