I thank God for the founders of an orphanage that I am a part of. Their investment of establishing a safe home for disadvantaged hill tribe girls years ago has resulted in building Godly women today who are furthering their education to be a strong influence and a leader in their society.

Since the end of October, these precious senior girls have been meeting with me each Friday night for a devotional time and Bible Study. Their desire is to grow closer to God and plant His Word in their heart.

Sewing Project by My Mom and I

My mother came to visit me at the children's home. We started a 2 month project of  sewing for each girls something that they want. The big girls chose full skirts while the little girls picked Sunday dresses. On her last day, she took pictures with all the girls in their outfits that we sewed for them. The directors were kind enough to give her a thank you gift. But the best reward that we got were seeing the smiles on the girls' faces!
