A month long project of sewing for all the girls. A big 'thank you' to my lovely mother and sister who purchased more than 60 meters of threads and fabrics to make dance outfits for the girls and nice skirts for our dorm mothers. I appreciate my mother for teaching me how to sew even when I did not want to learn... Now, I can pass on the little bit that I know to the girls..

School is off and we make a lot of treats like the Roti, (an Indian bread with sweet milk or jam...Yum!) School break days! While the older sisters enjoyed sleeping in before breakfast and chore time...some of our little girls loves to run around and play, (and post for pictures...) Some of the things that we love to do, worship God, paint nails, play with Barbies and learning new things like playing the keyboard.
Interim semester started last Monday and school is off for 3 weeks! Our little girls are excited to have a nice break!! Many will go home to visit their families in the villages but a few will remain at the children's home... It is their home and it is the safest place for them.
!Welcome October in Thailand. We have been having a lot of rainy days this year. October is at the end of the rainy season. Rain clouds still visit us everyday, as we are anticipating some more heavy rain in the forecast... No matter how wet it may be, the children still have school every day. It is almost the end of the first semester of the 2017 school year.
