While I was in Bangkok during the month of June, I took rush hour pictures at the local fresh market. Having a bird's eye view from the bridge over the street, I could see people coming and going. Buyers were bargaining for their fresh produce to cook at home or getting fresh cooked meal to bring to the dinner table. There were many public transportations available. For a trip home, one can usually find a public bus, blue taxis, (multiple colors, each color for a particular zone or area), and a tricycle taxis called "Tuk Tuk". There were also motorcycle taxis: (identifiable by an orange vest rider with a single passenger, right picture, very economical mode of transportation for a person going on a short trip to the market.) Thailand is a developing country with its own internal problems, like other countries. You may have heard of political unrest in Bangkok or in the southern borders. Very few people in Thailand are born again Christians. Please pray for open heart for them to know the love and forgiveness of The Savior. A friend from the States asked me recently if I am safe living in Thailand. My answer was absolutely! When God is with you, no matter where you are, it is the safest place!
