Bright and early on a school holiday on the 5th of December,Breanna's high school girls, missionaries and some of the staff took a 2 hour trip up to the hills. Our mission was to visit a Lahu village, build a swing set, outreach the villagers and conduct a service in the evening. The villagers joined us in putting together the swing. All the pieces were connected with nuts and bolts, ground were leveled, holes were dug and all the posts were cemented. We talked to the families, played games with the children and showed them how to enjoy their new swing set. Up in the hills, the children had no access to a swing set. The gift that the foundation set up, was sturdy and strong. It will last for many years to come. We spend the whole day with the villagers. During the evening service, we got to share with them the Gospel and performed songs of God's love for the entire village. We got back to the children's home very late but very contented.
