Counting Our Blessings
God continues to pour out His blessings here in Thailand, as I assist the missionary couple in operating the children home. We not only have a beautiful home for the children, now we also have a van that will seat the entire household. Before, the missionary would have to take two trips to take us and his family to church in his vehicle. Thank God that their organization had donated a second hand van that was big enough for all ten of us. Now I have the privilege and the responsibility to drive all of us to special outings and to church :)
What a blessing for all the girls when our missionary couple came to show us how to set up our first Christmas tree at the center! The girs has never had the joy of decorating a Christmas tree, or to celebrate Christmas before. Now they understand the meaning of Christmas- The Savior of the World has come to set us free from sin! Each ornament, and the star on the tree, everything we do is to celebrate God's perfect Gift-The Lord Jesus!
"Merry Christmas, Everyone!!"
Saying goodbye to Chiangmai for 2 weeks, Alathia and I are so blessed to be heading home for the holidays to visit family and friends. The missionary couple and the house parents will be there for the girls while I am out of the country.
Another blessing is that we will return to Thailand with my youngest child, who will be attending the international Christian high school and experiencing the life as a missionary child!
Last but not least, I count my many blessings because of you, my family and friends. Thank you to each of you, for your prayers and support through out the year! We look forward to another wonderful year of growing in Christ and serving Him to the uttermost.
We wish you Happy New Year 2013!!!
