Up the mountain we went on a foggy, rainy morning! The narrow rocky road can make anyone get car sick. But with this team of Koreans from California, nothing could deter them from their purpose-ministering to the needy in Thailand. We loaded up 2 vans and a SUV to visit the Thai school of Hmong community on top of the mountain. The mission team consisted of fourteen retired doctors, school teachers and professionals who volunteer their time and resources to come to Thailand and ministered to people in need. Part of the team are the missionaries, local pastors, chruch workers and translators. We revisited the school on top of the mountain to present the Gospel Story to the children( using the Cube from Child Evangelism Fellowship) . These two ladies are part of Sunday school teachers team from my Thai church. We have complete freedom with the school head master to tell the kids about Jesus! Getting the children ready for picture taking. These children, up in the remote mountain top of Chiang Mai never had a picture day. Today, 165 students will each receive their very own pictures to take home. These students raise a small chicken farm at the school. We all were able to take home some organic fresh eggs from the mountain! Several villagers came to see the visiting doctors. We also had gift bags of clothes, detergents from America to give to each family. The students also enjoyed American candy! Here is the team of retired professionals from California Korean church. The average of all 14 of them is 57 years old. The doctors visited and prayed for each patient. They also gave out reading glasses for those who needed them. Along with photos, clothings and gifts, they really showed God's grace and mercy that day!
