'May' is nine years old and in the third grade. She likes singing and drawing. May's story is one of most unfortunate circumstances. Her parents were both HIV positive and drug addicts. Five years ago before coming to the goverment orphanage, May lived with a sexually abusive and alcoholic father. To this day, May still have an aversion to physical touch by men. We pray for God's healing for little May as we provide counseling for her, through this scar in her young life. Here is 'Bplai', an active nine years old. She is in the first grade. Bplai is a special learner, with learning disability. She came to us with several baggages that we are helping her. Developmentally delayed, she is functioning about 5 years behind. She has frequent bed wetting issues, tends to lie and steal habitually. She often causes problems with the other girls. We are helping the girls to show grace and mercy and extra 'patience' with Bplai, just as God has grace and mercy for each of us. We are learning to be proactive by giving Bplai positive attention, and checking her school bag and belongings daily to ensure that she has only her own stuff. We would appreciate your and enlist prayers for Bplai and each of our girls. Please pray also for the house mother, the missionary couple who sponser us and I as we continue to care for the special charge that God has given us.
