![]() Saturday, the girls' first day of summer vacation, was off to a big splash as we went on a trip to a house boat on a national park dam in Mae Thang, Chiang Mai. From our house to the dam, about an hour drive on some very pretty lanes of flowering trees. The trip was sponsored by a very kind French man who wanted to bless our orphan girls with a very special trip. What a blessing it was for the girls and for Khun Na and I as house parents. I have never been to a house boat before. Gorgeous mountains and trees, clear water and lovely house boats created a beautiful relaxing get away place. I was very thankful that Thailand has such a great accommodation for visitors and tourist. The girls enjoyed a lovely place to have a delicious lunch on the boat, to splash and swim and enjoy a spectacular lake-side, mountain view. Our sponsor, Mr. Blu brought along his team of Thai-French translators. The ladies were very good and protective of the girls. All of us, atleast 6 adults looking after the girls and watch them have a time of their lives. We thank God for Mr. Blu and his team for his generosity to give the girls a special day to remember.
