Two Interns

Alexa and Sarah from Texas A&M came to Breanna's House of Joy to serve as short term missionaries. For 10 days, they spent time with our girls and their classmates at the local school teaching English to grade 1 thru 9. In late afternoons and evenings, they taught our older girls Bible lessons and played with our little girls. It was a lot of fun for me to have our two interns teaching along side. But it was also a job of responsibility for me to provide translations, transportation and as much comfort as possible at their guesthouse room and at finding food that they could eat daily. They were courageous and adaptable facing many unfamiliar situations with strangeness to their senses. Alexa and Sarah had a real heart for the girls. They are dearly missed.
